Tautumeitas — Bur man laimi
Representing Latvia at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest .
Tautumeitas are a Latvian folk/world music all-female band formed in 2015. The band consists of six vocalists and instrumentalists. They represented Latvia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 with the song "Bur man laimi".
Asnate Rancāne is a Latvian musician. Since 2015, she has been a singer in the group Tautumeitas and is considered one of the band's leading figures. She also plays the violin and kokle. Rancāne is a researcher of ethnic music, and in 2017 she released the ethnominimalist album "Op. 2" as a duo with Staņislavs Judins. She studied ethnomusicology at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music.
