About
EurovisionSearch.com
An independent, citation-friendly reference dedicated to preserving every result, artist, and notable moment in Eurovision history.
Mission
EurovisionSearch exists to build and maintain the ultimate Eurovision data archive — a definitive, richly-linked directory where every contest, performer, song, vote, and anecdote is preserved in one reproducible dataset. The goal is long-term stewardship: researchers, journalists, superfans, and casual visitors should all be able to cite Eurovision facts with confidence.
- Full contest coverage from 1956 onward, including national contexts and returning artists.
- Accessible storytelling that pairs stats with narrative notes, timelines, and editorial highlights.
- Mobile- and desktop-friendly interface.
Sources
We merge canonical public datasets with firsthand research to keep the archive trustworthy and reproducible.
- Wikidata, Wikipedia, MusicBrainz, and Discogs for structured metadata, identifiers, links, and reference context.
- Official Eurovision press releases and broadcaster archives for contest metadata and current participation details.
- Newspaper archives, delegation interviews, and national-final recaps for anecdotes or missing fields.
Corrections are welcome: Email [email protected] or reach out via Substack and we will trace the discrepancy back to its source before shipping an update.
