Eurobandið — This Is My Life
Representing Iceland at the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest .
Eurobandið (Euroband) is the name of Icelandic technopop and dance duo Friðrik Ómar and Regína Ósk, who together represented Iceland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade, Serbia. They performed the song "This Is My Life" in the second semi-final, on 22 May 2008 which won them a place in the final on 24 May. They finished 14th out of 25 in the final with 64 points.
Friðrik Ómar Hjörleifsson is an Icelandic singer best known for representing Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 as part of Eurobandið as lead vocals.
Regína Ósk Óskarsdóttir is an Icelandic singer. She has participated for Iceland in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2001, 2003, and 2005 as a backing vocal, and in 2008 as a member of Eurobandið with the song "This Is My Life". Alongside Friðrik Ómar, Regína achieved the 14th place in the final, resulting in Iceland's best showing since the Eurovision Song Contest 2003.
