Dschinghis Khan is a German Eurodisco pop band. It was originally formed in Munich in 1979 to compete in the Eurovision Song Contest with their song "Dschinghis Khan".

László "Leslie" Mándoki is a Hungarian born-German musician who became known as a member of the music group Dschinghis Khan. He continued his career as a solo artist and became a music producer who worked with various internationally famous artists. In 1992, Mandoki founded the supergroup known as Mandoki Soulmates, for which he is still an active member.
German singer, born 4 November 1950 in Meißen, German Democratic Republic (now Germany), died 20 January 2026. He was married to singer [a=Henriette Heichel] from 1976 to 1986.
