Los TNT were an Italian-Uruguayan rock 'n' roll band, popular in the 1960s. The band consisted of two brothers and a sister from Udine, Italy: Edelweiss "Tim" Croatto, Hermes "Tony" Croatto, and Argentina "Nelly" Croatto. The acronym and word play TNT comes from their nicknames. The family emigrated to La Paz, Uruguay in 1946, and in 1953 they moved to Montevideo, where they started to sing.
Italian-born musician and sound engineer, alias Edelwais Croatto (died Sep. 2022), he founder of the Estudios T.N.T. in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1967, brother of Nelly Croatto and Tony Croatto, with whom he founded Los TNT trio (1959 to 1966).
