English singer, songwriter, band leader, and music executive. Born on 14 July 1945 in Liverpool. Died on 10 May 2023. Father of Toby Slater and Barnaby Slater. With their mother Stephanie De-Sykes he co-wrote Eurovision entries for Co-Co (1978) and Prima Donna (1980). He was an A&R representative for Chrysalis and Mega Records, Denmark.
